OPERATING PRINCIPLE AND INDICATIVE CHARACTERISTICS

These are devices designed to produce hot air through wood combustion.

In the cavity between the hearth and the cladding, air taken from the outside is circulated which, entering from the base, heats up in contact with the walls and is released into the room.

Distribution in the home environment occurs through special grilles to be located on the front of the countercup and, when foreseen, through ducting in the neighboring rooms, thus heating the entire house uniformly.

The distribution of hot air can occur through natural convection or forced by fans; in the case of forced distribution, a regulator is used that modulates the speed of the air based on its temperature.

The quantity of combustion air, which can be primary, secondary (for cleaning the glass) and tertiary (post-combustion), can be regulated by means of special dampers.
